反對最低工資
身在自由的香港,我個人反對推行最低工資。
有人認為最低工資可協助低學歷、低技術人士得到更多收入,免受大公司剝削。事實是否如此?
我認為,人為地限制工資並不是解決低收入人士生活的好方法。
首先,改善他們的學歷、技術才可以協助他們改善生活。推行最低工資,只會令他們留在原來的行業。
第二,誰人決定最低工資?工會?商會?政府?立法會?看看紮鐵工人罷工事件吧,紮鐵工人薪金已有十年沒有調整了。若不是他們罷工,可能他們要等到下一年,工資才得到調整。
第三,最低工資等同劃一工資,僱主不會因為你經驗較多,學歷較佳而願意付出較高的人工聘請你的,因為市場上有其他低學歷、低技術求職者。
第四,因為劃一工資,求職者不能比較不同公司所聘請的同一工種。在自由經濟體系,假使某公司的工作要求較高,工作環境較差,他們需要付出較高工資去聘請及留住職員。但在最低工資下,僱主往往傾向只支付最低工資,這對求職者並不公平。

仲有啊, 個個以為人地實行最低工資係好, 我都唔知聽過幾多利用最低工資(有時用埋最高工時)剝削勞工既故事, 受害既往往都係較低層既工人...
個人看法, 最低工資是一樣不好的東西, 但本人並不反對, 而且有點支持, 因為那也可能是保障工人的權宜之計...
而作為僱主, 事實上是更不會太過受最低工資所限制...
